I am a senior statistician and researcher in the Office of Applied Research and Outreach at the Federal Trade Commission Bureau of Economics. I collaborate with staff economists and economics professors on research that is relevant to the FTC's mission of protecting American consumers. I also manage and test upgrades to the Bureau's computational infrastructure.
My research interests are industrial organization, antitrust, and applications of machine learning to public policy. I have coauthored research papers that are currently under review in peer-reviewed economics journals.
Outside of the FTC, I keep abreast of advances in statistical computing and design implementations in Julia and R. As an MIT alumnus and educational counselor, I have the privilege of interviewing prospective students and serving as an ambassador for the MIT community.
